Universalia Selected to Conduct an Evaluation of Swedish Development Cooperation in Guatemala

Universalia has been selected to conduct an evaluation of the relevance and impact of the Swedish Development Cooperation approach to strengthen resilience in poor rural indigenous beneficiary populations in Guatemala. The focus of the work will be on resilience and climate change adaptation. Four UN joint programmes (JP) implemented by UNDP, FAO, PAHO/WHO and UNICEF will be evaluated, including: the Ixil Rural Development JP (rural development in indigenous community); the Culico River Rural Development JP (agriculture); the Dry Corridor JP (food security and resilience); the Coatán and Alto Suchiate River Bassin Rural Development JP (rural development).
