Dr. Adeboye Adeyemo is an economist and evaluation specialist with more than 20 years of experience in all areas of development project and program management, and has work experience in 28 African countries. Dr. Adeyemo specializes in multi-donor capacity building initiatives in the areas of economic policy analysis, higher education collaboration programs, development management, and evaluation. He applies monitoring and evaluation within a results framework to improve evidence-based decision making in the public sector. Before starting his own consulting practice in capacity building and evaluation in 2012, he worked for the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) for ten years. At the ACBF, he led the design of several capacity building projects and programs, led the design of the ACBF M&E Policy, and managed a complex independent evaluation of the ACBF’s investments in training over a period of 17 years.

Since 2012, he has participated in a number of high profile consultancy assignments for clients such as the UK Department of International Development, the World Bank, and the government of Nigeria. Dr. Adeyemo has published many research works in international and local publications, and has written technical papers and training manuals. He has a reputation for clear, practical advice on complex issues in development management, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.
