Florence Allard-Buffoni is a monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning consultant as well as a project manager with more than 6 years experience in international development research and implementation. She holds a Master of Science in International Development and Management and is trained both in gender and women's empowerment evaluation and in the optimization of accuracy in evaluation results. She has worked on themes such as youth participation, micro-savings and mobile layaway systems, smallholder agriculture, gender, working conditions in the humanitarian sector, and WASH. She also has experience working on international development and humanitarian projects in the field in Senegal, Burkina Faso, Benin, Ecuador and Cuba, and has conducted missions to Mexico, Peru, Mali and Western Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom). In addition to her position as a consultant, Ms. Allard-Buffoni has worked with a variety of organisations: Canadian international development NGOs, organisations in the field, and an institutional donor in international development.
As an Evaluation Consultant for the Environment, Security and Conflict Transformation practice, Ms. Allard-Buffoni provides qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and representation, as well as writing and research skills. She has lived in West Africa, Central America, Scandinavia and Southern Europe and is fluent (both orally and in writing) in English, French, and Spanish.
