Hussein Amery specializes in assignments related to results-based management (RBM), enhancing organizational and institutional performance, measuring the achievement of projects and programs and capacity building activities, project design and project management services. He has extensive experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating large-scale donor programs. Mr. Amery has expertise in formative M&E techniques, including design of frameworks, systems, process evaluation, participatory approaches, logic models, performance measurement frameworks, log frames, theory of change and results chain models.
Over the past 25 years, Mr. Amery has led and participated in bilateral and multilateral development projects totalling more than $200 million. With a commitment to lifelong learning, collaboration and partnership, Mr. Amery has worked as a technical advisor with numerous donor agencies, including: Global Affairs Canada, the World Bank, the Caribbean Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), United Nations organizations, a number of executing agencies, and numerous private sector clients. An experienced trainer, Mr. Amery delivers seminars, workshops and technical advice in Project Management, Results Based Management, Performance Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Business Development. He is a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), the International Development Evaluation Association (IDEAS) and a board member of the Canadian Association of International Development Professionals.
