Montreal Beneva Marathon

Universalia is committed to supporting the health and well-being of its staff members as well as giving back to the community on a local and global level. That’s why this September, 10 of our team members will be participating in the Montreal Beneva Marathon, both locally and internationally (for those working remotely) as a corporate bonding activity and charitable fundraising initiative.

This year, the Montreal Beneva Marathon is celebrating it’s 30th edition as the area’s largest outdoor running event of the fall. With races of varying distances from 1 km to the 42 km marathon, it is the perfect opportunity for colleagues and families alike to get outside to celebrate movement and community, whilst also enjoying the views throughout the city. Participation in this event is a fantastic opportunity to foster a strong sense of team-spirit while embarking on a healthy challenge.

Through the races, we are using this opportunity to come together and collectively support the Native Friendship Centre of Montreal (NFCM). The NFCM has been providing comprehensive services and acting as a referral point in the Greater Montreal Area for over 45 years. Their mission is to promote, develop, and enhance the quality of life in Montreal’s urban Indigenous community. We welcome you to learn more about this organization through their website.

Universalia will be showing our support to the NFCM through the collection of monetary donations using the GoFundMe platform. If you are interested in helping us reach our fundraising goal, we ask that you kindly share this initiative amongst your networks and contribute should your resources allow you to do so.
