Michelle Brown Ochaita is an Environment and Peacebuilding Evaluation Intern at Universalia. She works across evaluation, conflict resolution, land and resource governance, and community resilience. Her field experience spans regions in East Africa, South Asia, and Latin America, supported by lived experience in Nepal, Ecuador, and Canada. Her work includes post‑conflict governance, extractive industry impacts, and community‑level dispute resolution, as well as engagement with Indigenous communities in Canada.
She is fluent in English with professional proficiency in French and Spanish. She brings analytical skills, cross‑cultural awareness, and a commitment to equity and evidence‑based practice to Universalia’s multidisciplinary teams.
