The COMPASS program of Simcoe country links schools with health and community service providers to better serve children in need. The objective of this assignment was to evaluate the performance of the COMPASS program and provide improvement recommendations. The COMPASS program included both the COMPASS capacity-building network as well as the services of the COMPASS Children’s Mental Health workers. The purpose of the capacity building network is to link service providers with schools to facilitate the sharing of knowledge between stakeholders and to provide a mechanism for collaborative interventions for children in need.
