The Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD) contracted Universalia to develop a Training of Trainers’ (ToT) Workshop in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). The five-day workshop was held in Barbados from March 28 to April 1, 2011. The workshop brought together all 15 staff members of the CARICAD Office as well as two representatives from the Public Service Commission of Barbados. Universalia met extensively with CARICAD staff to conduct a needs assessment which informed the development and implementation of the workshop. The five-day workshop consisted of three days focused on the delivery of an M&E course for all 15 participants, plus two Training of Trainer days of the workshop delivered to a smaller group of 6 participants. In addition, a toolkit was developed which includes the various products that were used and provided in hard and electronic copies to CARICAD.
