Multilateral Performance Assessments for Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)

Universalia has been commissioned by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to conduct multilateral performance assessments of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The assignment will assess the performance of the two organizations against their mandate since 2014 and how well they align with the Australian development objectives. DFAT will use these assessments to inform performance discussions and budget decisions on funding to GPE and GEF. With over 35 years of experience in results based-planning, monitoring and evaluation assignments, Universalia is uniquely qualified to undertake this important assignment. Universalia has also previously undertaken performance assessments of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank for DFAT in 2015, as well as the extensive MOPAN assessment process of a range of multilateral organizations from 2010 to 2014.
