Universalia awarded contract to conduct the final review of UNAIDS Agenda for Accelerated Country Action for Women, Girls, Gender Equality and HIV

Universalia has been awarded the contract to conduct the end review of the UNAIDS Agenda for Accelerated Country Action for Women, Girls, Gender Equality and HIV.

The objective of the review is to assess the Agenda’s success and challenges in fostering gender responsive approaches and providing a platform for accountability for government and CSOs working on the HIV response. This work is commissioned by the UNAIDS Secretariat and will involve a multi-stakeholder reference group including representatives from co-convening UN agencies (UN Women, UNDP and UNFPA), UNAIDS Regional Gender Advisors and civil society partners including organizations of women living with HIV. Findings from this review will contribute to inform the development of the updated UNAIDS Strategy.

The Universalia team will include Emmanuel Trépanier as Team Leader, Dr. Christine Bradley as Senior External Expert on HIV, and Esther Rouleau as Evaluation Consultant.
