Universalia contracted to final independent evaluation of International Labour Organization project in Haiti on Labour Law Compliance

Universalia’s Performance Measurement Practice was selected by the International Labour Organization to conduct the final independent evaluation of its project “Building Capacities of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour (MAST) to ensure Labour Compliance in Haitian Apparel Sector”. The US funded project aimed at capacitating inspectors and conciliators of the MAST, as well as the office of the labour Ombudsperson and the Labour Court judges to better prevent and/or solve disputes and ensure compliance with labour laws in the Haitian apparel sector. Universalia’s evaluation will inform ILO of the project’s achievements and its contribution to the overall national efforts to ensure labour law compliance in the apparel sector.
