Universalia has been contracted by ILO to conduct the final evaluation of the Projet d’Appui à la mise en oeuvre de la Déclaration de l’OIT relative aux principes et droits fondamentaux au travail III (PAMODEC III). PAMODEC is a project established in 2000, which supports the Francophone African countries in their efforts to implement fundamental labour rights. It promotes social dialogue as a fundamental tool to modernize the national employment and labour systems. The evaluation of this project aims at assessing the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability and drawing lessons learnt and recommendations. The methodology includes a series of interviews with key stakeholders, 6 country case studies and an online survey. Dr. Jérôme Gandin will be leading this evaluation in Dakar (Senegal) over the next 3 months.
