Universalia selected for the Mid-Term Review of the Siemens Integrity Initiative

Following a Settlement Agreement with the World Bank Group in 2009, Siemens AG set up the Siemens Integrity Initiative, a 100$M USD fund to finance projects that fight corruption and fraud in the world. To date, the Initiative has funded 55 projects in over 25 countries over two Funding Rounds, for a value of 70$M+ USD. Universalia was selected to conduct the Mid-Term Review of the Initiative, with the aim of (a) reviewing the geographical and thematic distribution of the project portfolio, (b) reviewing projects’ progress towards results, and (c) assessing the collective contribution of the Integrity Initiative to the global fight against corruption and fraud.

The review is scheduled for June to November 2017 and draws on interviews, documents, and surveys to serve the double purpose of accountability (assessing performance to date) and learning (improving future performance).
