Universalia was selected by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to conduct the final evaluation of the Maya II joint programme implemented along with OHCHR and UNICEF in Guatemala. With the financial support of the Government of Norway, this joint programme aims to move towards the construction of a multicultural state and the fulfillment of the rights of indigenous peoples by strengthening the capabilities of civil society right holders’ organizations and of duty bearers. The Maya Joint Programme focuses its actions in the fields of justice, education, and political participation.
