Universalia supporting the “Global Network of Delivery Leaders”

Since October 2013 Political leaders of six countries have formed a network to share knowledge about what works and what doesn’t – in delivering government services to citizens. The initiative, called the “Global Network of Delivery Leaders,” was agreed in late September after a meeting between Former Prime Minister Tony Blair, World Bank President Jing Yong Kim and the leaders of Albania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Malawi, and Senegal.

“The World Bank Group and the Office of Tony Blair will provide technical support to the network and its members,” the World Bank said in a statement after the meeting held on the sidelines of the Clinton Global Initiative in New York in October 2013.

In January 2014 Universalia has been mandated by the World Bank to assist the President’s Office of the Government of Senegal in developing institutional arrangements and a strategic approach to deliver on results.

Dr. Marie-Hélène Adrien, accompanied by Mr. Johnny Ndayishimiye, has completed a first mission in Dakar, Senegal.
