The next two videos from the EvalStory Campaign promoting the International Year of Evaluation are now available online.
The first video is from Juha Uitto, Director of the Independent Evaluation Office of the Global Environment Facility (IEO-GEF). He was previously Deputy Director of the Independent Evaluation Office of the United Nations Development Programme. Dr. Uitto has a PhD in Social and Economic Geography and has authored more than 30 peer reviewed articles, book chapters and books on topics related to the environment, natural resources management, environmental hazards, and evaluation.
The second video is from Caroline Heider, Director‐General and Senior Vice President of the Independent Evaluation Group (IEG) at the World Bank Group. Ms. Heider has more than 25 years of international experience in evaluation. Before joining IEG, Ms. Heider headed the Office of Evaluation at the World Food Programme. She has extensive evaluation experience in international development and humanitarian assistance and experience in related areas of strategic planning, management audit, and program design.
