Pascaline Gaborit is an expert and consultant on governance, resilience, and dialogue. She worked on international projects linking research and action and developing capacity building. She holds a PhD in political on the topic ‘Trust and Conflicts’. She is the founder of the think tank/NGO Pilot4dev www.pilot4dev.com and works with the Universalia team on the evaluation/quality assessment of different programs for the World Bank and the Asian Disaster Prevention Centre.

She published books and articles on resilience, climate adaptation, international cooperation, cities, culture, the SDGs and gender inclusion. She was director for the pilot cities international network for more than 12 years and worked as an adviser for other think tanks.

She is teaching and supervising students in the professional Master ‘Resilient Cities’ at the Free University of Brussels and is managing several projects on resilience, sustainability urban planning and adaptation, dialogue, tax reforms, fake news, artificial intelligence, human rights and democracy. She is evaluator and project assessor in several EU and international programs. She is also a dive instructor promoting marine ecosystems in her free time.
