Study on models and initiatives regarding the integration of Internationally Educated Health Professionals

The Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS) requested this study to learn more about integration practices and models for internationally educated health professionals (IEHPs). Documentary sources were used to identify the most relevant practices in the health field and other comparable fields, in Canada and abroad. A first report served as an issues paper for the regional consultations held in three Francophone minority regions in Canada (Ottawa, Moncton, and Sudbury). The goal of the project was to promote cooperation between regional partners in order to find solutions to the integration challenges faced by IEHPs.
