The challenges of measuring women's economic empowerment: a publication by our colleague Ecem Oskay

Our colleague Ecem Oskay recently published an article in the peer-reviewed journal World Development titled “Grappling with the challenges of measuring women's economic empowerment in intrahousehold settings”. The publication includes a multi-disciplinary review of existing measures of women's economic empowerment in three key domains: labour market, control over household resources, marriage and fertility and child rearing.
