Universalia and the Washington-based IDI are pleased to partner for the training program ‘Doing Business in North America’

Universalia and the Washington-based International Development Institute (IDI) are pleased to announce their partnership in launching the ‘Doing Business in North America’ training program. This training program is composed of two modules focused on the U.S. and Canadian markets.

The first session of this Program Fundamentals of Investing in the U.S. will be held in Washington D.C. from November 3-7, 2014. The objectives of this one-week training are:

  • to provide fundamental knowledge on the legal and regulatory environment of doing business in the U.S.
  • to create and explore economic and trade relationships with the U.S., and strengthen existing cooperation.

The target beneficiaries include law firms, corporate counsels, investors, government officials, and business and trade organizations.

The course will be conducted in an interactive learning approach, including class session, group work and case studies. In addition, this one-week training provides the participants with the opportunity to interact with members from prestigious law firms, leading law schools, World Bank, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and U.S. government agencies. There will be possibilities to schedule individual business meetings after some of the visits.

To guarantee the high quality of the program, we maintain a small program size for full participation and engagement. If you have any question, please send your inquiry to Sadie Yang. View the detailed program brochure and course outline for more details.
